Street Defensive Tactics

KRAV MAGA BOOK - HOW TO DEFEND YOURSELF AGAINST ARMED ASSAULT
by Imi Sde-Or (Founder of Krav Maga) and Eyal Yanilov

At present, the only official book detailing the techniques of Krav Maga. Written by the founder of Krav Maga, the late Imi Sde-Or and the present head instructor of the International Krav Maga Federation, Eyal Yanilov, this book concentrates on two areas of strength of Krav Maga, unarmed defence against various weapons and the use of weapons especially against another armed opponent.

This book is not really for beginners with no previous self defence or martial arts training. Ideally readers have some background in Krav Maga as the material assumes a knowledge of Krav Maga empty hand defence and attack. It also assumes some knowledge of Krav Maga's multiple opponent tactics and drills.

The material covers all the basic areas of weapons attack and defence, primarily from the perspective of a civilian or someone in security, although some of the material obviously has application in the military context. More advanced subjects such as weapons ground fighting, knife and gun combat in confined spaces such as cars etc. are not covered.

This material is supplemented with additional information about Krav Maga history, training and methods of psychological training.

Available from major bookstores, on-line bookstores such as dymocks.com.au, amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com, or by contacting the International Krav Maga Federation direct.
